SYNOPSIS
The tragicomic tale of Nico de Santis, an Italian Secret Service agent. Although he is a genuine nobody, he is promoted from the lowest to the highest rank thanks to a series of undeserved recommendations and cunning betrayals. He has a wife whom he adores, a mob of unscrupulous colleagues who wallow in the gaps of power, toadying to whoever can benefit them the most, and a wicked boss who is utterly rapacious and unprincipled.
